The first staff of Ordu Hospital is not known exactly. In 1903, two doctors and 2 private pharmacists were in the city of Ordu. There were 15 beds in the hospital. 1 He had an internal medicine doctor and 1 pharmacist. Operative patients were usually sent to Istanbul. Hospital; the number of available beds and staff was not in a position to meet the need.In order for the hospital to serve better, Ordu youths organized a demonstration in 1921 and obtained 600 liras of income. Young people, in addition, by organizing a donation campaign trades and the merchant had collected more than 600 pounds. With this source, the hospital, bed, blanket, medicine, etc. they had bought material. OrduHospital in the city, as in the National Struggle period, after the proclamation of the Republic of Ordu Accounting-i-Hususiye (Provincial Special Administration) was funded by the Administration. In the face of the increase in the population of the villages in the villages of the city and the Ordu, the Ordu Hospital building was found to be inadequate in many respects. In the north, it was decided to build a new hospital building in the region called Keçiköy. The State Hospital, which started to serve in the new building outside the city from the end of 1931, had 1 Operator Doctor, 1 Internal Medicine Doctor, 1 Pharmacist, 1 Head Nurse and his assistants in the Memleket- Hospital as it was then.
Since the hospital was far from the city, a car had been taken to the hospital with the financial contributions of army traders, to bring the doctors and staff, to be used in various services of the hospital. Although the staff of the hospital in Keçiköy was constantly being expanded, the hospital building could not meet the need. Number of beds; In order to fill this gap, construction of a new hospital building was started in 1954 as the building could not be increased due to unfavorable buildings. This building, which was opened to service after the completion of the construction in 1964, served as the ”Ordu State Hospital 1987 until 1987 and has been used as the Provincial Health Directorate of Ordu since 1987.  Ordu State Hospital Hast was moved to the building where it is currently serving as a Chest Diseases Hospital. In August 2003, our new annex building was completed and was put into service of our people. Our hospital currently has a capacity of 468 beds, 7 intensive care (Coronary Intensive Care, Internal Intensive Care, Surgical Intensive Care, Reanimation Intensive Care 1 and 2, KCV Intensive Care, Neurology Intensive Care), more than 85 polyclinics in 32 different branches, 1300 's staff on the Ordu serves the people.
